have installed photoshop elements 10, but keep getting errors when signing in

installed photoshop elemtns 10,  when first opening it, i sign in.  i am accepted, but when i get to page that asks for birthday and photoshop.com (album) and i try to submit.  i just keep getting an error.  so i can not open program.  please help.
