Having problems downloading Photoshop/Lightroom to Windows Vista.

I have a Dell computer; Windows Vista
I get a message saying my system does not support this download (or something like that).
I am not computer savvy. Could someone please help me out? I'd appreciate it!
From what I can tell, I have 450GB space with 300GB free available. Does that help?
