Question

Hello! I have just bought Adobe Audition CS6 and I'm having trouble installing it.

Whenever I install it I keep getting the message that it  "Failed to install Microsoft Visual C   2008 Redistributable Package (x86)" So I went to the Microsoft website and downloaded the package. That would not work either. How do I get both to work? It cost a lot of money to get this software and I would really like to use it properly. Thank you for reading.

This is the note I get whenever I try to install the program:

Without knowing anything about your system we can't even begin to advise. These libraries are used by gigazillions of programs and even device drivers, so the most plausible explanation is that one of those other tools has installed an incompatible version or has flagged them as critical so they cannot be arbitrarily removed by other installers. Either way, this is nothing that can be solved easily. Also not that you have a "display requirements not met" error there, which may point to a configuration issue with your graphics hardware and potentially cause the collateral issue with the MSVC libraries.
