my adobe flassh player/acrobat does not install, says 'it does not initialize'

    Flash Player and Acrobat are two different products. Let us start at the beginning. What is your OS? What version of Flash Player did you install? Where did you download it from? I ask the last question since there are several websites that try to get you to download a new Flash Player from their website and what you download is a virus. If you downloaded Flash Player from the Adobe website that should not be an issue.

    Did you try to use Acrobat (Pro or Standard)? These are commercial products that require payment. Or did you try to download and install Adobe Reader (a free product)? Let us know which and again what verstion?
