Help / Advice 4 (Old) ACE certified returning to work

Question

I am a classicly trained, (degreed) Artist who 'relictantly' embraced digital media (as it was born & evolved)..eventually getting my Adobe ACE certifications in 2005.. However, Due to personal circumstances, I have taken a 'hiatus' from working.. I now feel like 'Rumplestiskin'.. (As If I took a nap and awoke 10 years later!). I am trying to get a small studio together after surviving extensive spinal surgery.. But I am really struggling to get 'a handle' on a sensible workflow and the hardware I require to do the personal & commercial work I have the opportunities to do..

Any assistance in this regard would be appreciated..

Good for you. That and $3.00 will get you a ride on the NY Subway .

A lot has changed. But some would argue that print design hasn't changed all that much as compared to say web design which is a real circus.

Tell us what kind of work interests you. Also have a look at what other creative people are doing on Behance and Adobe Portfolio.

Do you have an existing setup that you're struggling with (hardware, which Adobe apps?). Or are you starting from scratch?
