HELP DOWNLOADING PHOTOSHOP CS6 EXTENDED MAC

Question

I have a macbook pro and have tried numerous times to download photoshop cs6 extended for mac. I open the file and install it with adobe installer, but when it is "finished" installing, there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point saying some items were not successfully installed! Please help! I'm just trying to download the trial version of cs6 extended, using the link on adobe website, not download illegally or anythin
