Question

HELP PLEASE - I only have 30 days to sort this

When installing it says that my serial number is already in use by the maximum number of  computers and that I need to deactivate the other computer within 30 days to use this product.

However, when logging into my account it says ou can install Adobe applications on more than one computer, activate them (sign in) on two, but use them on only one computer at a time.

BUT,  I have no devices registered. Please help. I have signed out of all sessions on my old computer. Help please as I only have 30 days to resolve it and have had no success in actually speaking anyone from adobe,

Thanks

Thanks for posting your question to this public discussion forum, Tommy. Please see https://adobe.ly/490tEiR for information on how to manage any remaining activations for Photoshop and Premiere Elements. If you have already deactivated the software on a different computer, then you will need to find a new solution for your creative needs in 2025. ^JW

    Hi Jeffrey,

Thanks for your reply. Am I infering that I simplky have to buy another copy? Seems alitte unfair considering that I have to buy new copy when I have only recently purchased it. Is there no other solution?

Not at all, Tommy, you can try the suggestions at https://adobe.ly/4oQXN8U to move any of the activations that were provided with your purchase to the new computer. This is the only way the activation can be reclaimed.

For a successful activation request to be sent, it must be able to contact Adobe's servers. Please make sure that any computer that you are attempting to deactivate on is up to date and using the latest version of Windows or macOS. This will give you the best opportunity to send a successful deactivation request.

If this is not possible, then yes, Tommy, you will need to find a new solution. Photoshop and Premiere Elements moved to a fixed three-year term license to help alleviate these types of errors. When you purchase Elements 2026, you will have access to all of the premium features for three years on both macOS and Windows. You can also manage your license for the software on https://adobe.ly/4oQXQ4A. ^JW

unless you have an enterprise license:

what's shown in your account isn't relevant.  you must deactivate using one of the two computers that have a current activation.  if that's impossible, it's impossible to regain an activation.
