Help! The trial version of AE, won't load apps after downloading the CC .exe file - shows blank box

Help, I'm new to this!

I'm so excited to try AE, but after downloading the CC .exe file and clicking the "try trial" button - the CC box is blank with no apps.

  1. I went through all the FAQ and System Requriements List.
  2. I unchecked Pop-Ups, but I don't feel comfortable with turning off my Firewall.

My ASUS Computer:

  • Windows 7 (3-4yrs old)
  • RAM: 4.00GB
  • Free Space: 139GB
  • Pentium (R) Dual-Core CPU - T4300@2.10GHz
  • 64-bit Operating System
  • Intel Pentium

So, be honest - Is my computer unable to handle this? I would love to join the CC, and this is where I want to start.

I'm on a tight budget, but If my computer is too old, please give suggestions on buying a new computer - Brand, etc.

    click the gear icon at the upper right and click quit.  then restart the cc app and see if it updates and solves your problem.

    if not, sign out and then back in.

    if that doesn't help, follow solution 2 here, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html
