hi! we purchased the program PS CS6 a couple years ago and it has been installed on my laptop ...i just got a desktop and wanted to install it on it.  When we transferred everything over the PS icon shows up but when i try to get into it a pop up for signing up for a free trial pops up.  I just need to know how to get it working since we have already purchased the program.

So confused!

Thank you!

    Hi,

Adobe allows a  maximum of 2 activations  , however  you can only use 1 at a time

You can refer this article http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html

Also refer the thread Transferring Program from Laptop to Desktop

    Hope this helps!

Thank you! So...i can keep the program on both computers but only have the program open on one of them at a time?  I guess i am just confused with why the PS icon is showing up on my desktop as if the program is there but then when i click on it it goes to try to signing me up for a trial.   Do i have to reinstall with the disc on new computer?
