Hello,

I've been having problems with all adobe products not showing the Help > Update window since Windows 10. I'm trying to use AE CC 2014 for stereo rigging but the base version crashes when I do. I read that CC version 13.2 fixes that problem but I could not get the updater to work

    Hi,

    Have you installed the Adobe CC desktop app along with the AE application?

    yes I have, I had to re-install AE CC 2014 through the CC desktop app as the 2015 version deleted my previous version by default.

    Hi Jacikie,

    Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0

    Make backup and Delete the .dat file named "AdobeUpdaterPrefs"

    Make sure you quit Creative Cloud app before deleting this file.

    Once done Sign out and sign in from CC app and check for the updates.
