Help. Why does Bit Defender Flag Creative Cloud as an Infection when I try to download it?

I use a laptop computer with Windows 10 and Bit Defender installed.  After my Creative Cloud desktop app stopped working, I tried unsuccessfully to repair it.  Instead, I found that it was removed from my computer entirely.    For over a week I have signed into my Creative Cloud account and tried to download a new copy.  Every time I did so, I'd get an Error 207 message.  (By the way, I have no issue with downloading software from other sites.)

During my more recent attempts, my Bit Defender antivirus has begun flagging Creative Cloud as an infection whenever I attempt to download it.

A few days ago, I used my Geek Squad membership with Best Buy to ask their technical support people if they could download Creative Cloud for me.  They made multiple attempts over seven hours to do so, but even they didn't succeed.

Now I am paying monthly fees for the use of LIghroom Classic CC, LIghtroom CC, and Photoshop CC, which I use almost daily but cannot update without a functioning Creative Cloud app.

Today, I tried twice more to download and install the Creative Cloud app, but once again Bit Defender flagged it as an infection.

So my question is where do I turn for help next, if even the tech support people at Geek Squad cannot help me get my Creative Cloud app back?  ..
