Help with Lightroom setup.

Starting Lightroom 4 first time. Get update to 4.3 dialogue. When do this, immediately get BLANK WHITE window and nothing happens. Window stays present until I exit Lightroom. How do I update successfully? Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8.3. Thank You! Denny
