Hi guys, running Illustrator 5.1 on a macbook pro, keeps crashing

keep getting a long message see below,

Should I reinstall it or get an update off the Adobe website?

Any pointers would be gratefully accepted

if your os is yosemite, it's not compatible with ai cs5
