Can you describe more about what you summarize as "unable to re-install my adobe on the same computer." ?  What actions do you take and what results?  What messages do you get?  Are you able to install it on a different computer?

Since you use the word "same", it might be a case that you do have another machine that the install is functional on.  If so, or even if you installed a couple of times on the same machine, it might be a case where your activation allowance has been used up and you need to have them reset.  If you contact Adobe Support thru chat you can ask them to reset your activations so that you have the two allotted to you available again.

For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

Hi -

Yes, I am unable to re-install on the same exact machine. I had to zero out my computer due to a drive error and was trying to re-use my same Adobe CS5 disks to install Adobe CS5 Creative Suite onto my computer and no longer have the serial number to do so... I have to product code and all of that. Is there a way to receive my serial number again? I tried the website listed within the packaging, but that requires the serial code that I no longer have (since it has been  couple years since I've installed). I was trying to avoid paying for the cloud since this is an older Macbook and I've already purchased the suite for this older (2011) Macbook. Maybe my activation allowance has been used up and I need them reset? So, I should contact Adobe Support in the link provided and as them to "reset my activations so that I have the two allotted to you available again"?

Thank you for your help!
