Hiccup deleted all my my current work

Yesterday while working in one file, I had some kind of glitch that deleted layers upon layers I'd worked on for a hours. I've never had this happen. It was one PS file, the others open at the same time did not experience loss, just the active one.  I'm a content developer on a deadline and POOF, all of them gone. HOURS and HOURS of layers, resetting it to 24 hours prior!!!

I pay for this service and this is just unacceptable. This is my business and I'm really upset that it wasn't auto backing up like IT should be doing. The question, how do I recover my files? Are they gone?

I had paid for PS about 9 years ago but it wouldn't install on Windows 10, so I began the service.  The BRIDGE is so terrible. It can't handle the graphic arts I develope, and is so buggy. Also, PS lags, hangs up, brushes stops working, you name it. This started to get worse about three months ago. Where is my refund for hours of lost work? I know, no refund, but come on! Why did this happen? Anyone else lose layers of work?

The Restore feature in Photoshop CC works fine for me.  But you must  SAVE, SAVE, SAVE regularly during long editing sessions.  I usually keep 3-5 versions of my project just in case of a mishap.   I'm truly sorry for your loss.  But I guarantee you will never allow that to happen again.
