Hi

Something on your system or local network is preventing you from contacting the Adobe servers. Make sure that your hosts file doesn't have  a entry for adobe, and make sure that any firewall or antivirus software isn't interfering.

Location of hosts file :

%SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Open hosts in notepad and check whether there are any adobe entries or not, if yes, then please rename hosts to hosts.old and try again.

Let us know if this helps

Thanks

1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named hosts inside etc folder.

2)Copy the hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad.

Check whether you can see any Adobe related entries inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc??

If present , reset the Hosts file to default , " Hosts  is essential file . "

.

Click on below link to know about resetting Hosts file .

For Windows 7 simply run Fix it tool , it will automatically reset Hosts file.
