How big are CC apps? Maxed out bandwidth and brought down website!

Trying to install Adobe CC apps today maxed out the bandwidth for the entire company AND brought down our website. Some information on the file sizes before I started would have been helpful. We're now left without design cover because I have to wait until after hours to install the new software, otherwise no-one else in the company can use the internet! We're not a small company either - it's a big office with 250 staff.

Each of the apps weighs in at about 1 GB, some less, some a bit more. If you're really that big create a deployment package to get a base install.
