How can I activate my paid license (Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard) on my new laptop?

A few years ago, I bought Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard and loaded it on my Sony Vaio laptop (Windows 7).

This laptop is now dying and I loaded Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard on my new Lenovo laptop (Windows 😎 - BUT IT WOULDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE MY LICENSE KEY.

Because I use this for work, I opted for the 30-day trial, but this is unacceptable.

How can I get the new installation to acknowledge my Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard license key?!

what message do you see after entering your serial number?

I don't recall exactly, but something like invalid license key or number.
