How can i activate the "Updates" in the Menu "Help" in InDesign CS6, Photoshop CS6?

The Menu "Updates" is not activated. When i try to update manually, i became the error "Update failed", I have to ask my Administrator, because Updates are not allowed on my Mac. But I'm the Administrator.
