My computer has died, and I need to deactivate CS5 and the online versions of Lightroom and Photoshop so I can reinstall them on my new computer. How do I do this? Thanks.

Onlooker2 if you no longer have access to the computer, to deactivate your Adobe software, then please proceed with installing the software on the new computer.  If for some reason you reach your activation limit then please contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care.  For complete details regarding the activation process please see Activate and deactivate Adobe products.

Onlooker2 I did review the Design Premium CS5 for Windows and did confirm that you have several activations remaining.  It does look like you purchased an educational version of Creative Suite 5 Design Premium for Windows.  I would recommend that you locate the installation files provided with your purchase as the retail installation files at Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products may not accept your serial number.

Please update this discussion if you encounter any additional errors Onlooker2.

Well it is 2025 and you no longer will activate older products now.  I lost my CS5 suite because Adobe won't let me reactivate it.  You just pulled the rug out.

    1. Did you deactivate Creative Suite from your previously installed devices first?
That's critically important because your individual license has a strict 2 time activation limit. Remote deactivation of Creative Suite is not possible. It's too old.

    2. If all previous devices are dead or no longer in your possession, you're stuck. You've reached your activation limit and need to replace with new software.
