Question

How can I get my CS3 to work on my new Mac computer?

I just purchased a new Mac computer and then purchased Photoshop CS3. It doesn't work. I have been searching the internet and have now found that the newer Mac OS systems have caused issues with the CS softwares. PLEASE help! Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Thank you.

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

    FAQ about Mac 10-11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1979303

There are known problems with Mac 10.11 El Capitan... that may be one of them

    -Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html

-See reply #5 in https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1965850 for several solution links

--the first link in that reply is a possible solution to install problems

    Hi,

There could be compatibility issues as the software is old and the OS is the latest one.

Please specify the error message/code that you are getting.

If possible, please post a screenshot.

    Regards,

    Sheena

‌I am not really getting an error message. It seems to load with no errors but when you open it, there is no grey work area. My desktop image remains and the tools are on the sides.
