Which version of Windows are you running? Did you try clicking either the Try Again button or the Learn More link?

It may also help if you Quit the CC Application, then reboot and restart it so that it can update.

You don't say what plugins need to be updated, or your version of InDesign or OS, but typically when this message appears it is when you try to open a file that was saved in a version of InDesign newer than the one you are using. In such cases there are no plugin updates that you can install and the only options are to upgrade InDesign to at least the version used to save the file or to obtain a .idml (if you work in CS4 or newer) or .inx (CS3) file which may not support all of the features used in the file saved from the newer version. For collaborative workflows it is best practice for all users to have the same version of InDesign.

Creative Cloud subscribers can install the latest versions that are supported on their operating systems at no additional cost, but your error message implies that you are using a version that is earlier than any CC versions (recent versions of InDesign would tell you what version was used to save the file in the error message).

We cannot help you with that. You, or the organization you work for, would need to have your own subscription. You cannot legally use the subscription of someone else.
