How can I purchase the Lightroom 6 upgrade?

Ihave lightroom 4.4

can I upgrade to LR 6 at no cost....

    An additional update you can locate the purchase page for Lightroom 6 at Adobe products: desktop, web and mobile applications | Adobe .  If you choose to filter the listings by Desktop and then choose Photography under Creativity & Design then it will show up on the first page.  I have included a screen shot below.

    My apologies to anyone who is facing difficulty locating Lightroom 6 for purchase.

    no, upgrades (major version changes eg, lr4 to l5 to l6) always cost money from adobe.  updates (eg, lr 4.0 to 4.4) are always free from adobe.

    currently, it doesn't even appear you can purchase a perpetual license for lr 6 from adobe.  adobe only offers a lr cc subscription and no upgrade pricing.

    and in fact, it doesn't make sense to subscribe to lr only.  the photographers plan (lr and photoshop) is the least expensive plan offered by adobe, Creative Cloud pricing and membership plans | Adobe Creative Cloud

    Hmm... when I go to this link Download and install Lightroom 6 (Single App license) it still says "You can buy Lightroom 6 as a Single App licensed product (without a Creative Cloud plan)"

    lol, come on.  you know adobe's website.  just because it says something on an adobe page doesn't mean it's valid.  try their link to purchase.

    it looks to me, as if adobe's no longer selling lightroom 6.  it was bound to happen sooner or latter.

    you can still purchase elsewhere but we all know that can be problematic, too.
