Question

How can I reinstall Photoshop CS6l after system restore

I downloaded and installed the trial version of CS6 a few days ago and everything was working wonderfully.  Yesterday, some adware found its way through my firewall and installed itself on my system.  The only restore point I had available predated the CS6 installation, and after the system recovered, PhotoShop was gone.  I attempted to install it again to continue the trial, but got an error that directed me to a site that is no longer maintained by Adobe.  How can I fix this?  I'm sure the time limit on the trial hasn't stopped counting down, but I'm unable to install and check out the software.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

you're probably out of luck and cannot resume your trial.

however, you can download a trial and test your luck,

    Downloads available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

Thanks for getting back to me.  Here's my problem though -- I downloaded and ran the installer again BUT it didn't even install.  I can only assume there's something hidden away in the registry that the installer doesn't like.  This is also a new computer that came with Win 8.1 installed at the factory.  This version of Windows is also new to me and I have zero experience with it.  As it stands right now, if I did decide to purchase the software it wouldn't even install.  If I can't fix this, Photoshop won't even be an option when I choose a graphics editor.  Did I also mention that all of my Adobe products are gone?  Reader, Flash, etc.  I do see is the updater running under task manager, but all the app folders are empty.
