How can I successfully download and re-install AI CS4 ? INSTALLATION of AI CS4 via download - the file ADBEILSTCS4_LS1.7z coudl not be opened - installing from my backup media failed Adobe Anchor Service source unavailable 1612. HELP !!

Yes I did download from Download CS4 products  Download CS4 products.

Really confusing, I seem to be going round in circles.

I thought it'd be simple to re-install my AI CS4 from  my initial AI install media and I have the associated serial #

A basic problem which I've seen other folks query is error text reporting absence of Adobe Anchor Service source error 1612  - hence my AI installation failing.

So I'm not alone in hitting a problem related to missing Anchor Service

If I didn't have to watch my pennies & $ - I'd just bite the bullet and go to CC, but..........
