How can you author a DVD with current Adobe software?

I am trying to export some old home movies from Premiere Pro onto DVD to be played on a DVD player but I'm not having any luck. The closest I've come is advertisements telling me to download other software that I'd have to pay for. What's the deal Adobe? I have created a selection menu in After Effects and now I want to combine the two, sync them up and burn as a working DVD. How do I do it? These are being done for an older person who isn't computer savvy and only wants them on DVD.

You can't with what you now have

Export from PPro using the MPEG2-DVD preset and import the TWO files (audio & video) into your choice of authoring program

Alternatives to Encore

Windows only DVD+BluRay https://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/taw6.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_DVD_authoring_software MANY are discontinued

Or, buy Premiere Elements for a one time fee and use that instead of Premiere Pro

Adobe gave up on DVD authoring.  You'll find plenty of alternatives online.   Power2Go is one I use.

Hi, I have found that Power to go 13, won't accept mpeg2 dvd files encoded in Premier pro/media encoder. I had a mega4 file to edit, which power to go 13 would accept, so I used that, which bypassed Premier Pro/Media Encoder. Since then I have discovered that Adobe Elements will accept files from Premier Pro.

For DVD makers Premiere Pro seems redundant. It's a shame, as Encore was so easy for DVD makers.
