how come support chat feature does not work?

i keep getting circled back to support to create a case, and it gives me two options.  forums, which apparently work because i can type in this question.  and then live chat 24/7 which does not work because clicking on it yields absolutely nothing.  what's up with that?

    If you do get a chat link then make sure you have cookies enabled and if necessary try using a different browser.

    cookies are enabled (not for 3rd party though).  why would this feature not work with firefox 31?

    If whoever codes the Adobe site knew the answer to that they'd probably not fail for different browsers.
