Had the same problem. I finally solved it with the help of Adobe Support.
The steps included (for Mac OS X Yosemite):
- delete the AAMUpdater and AdobeApplicationManager folders and renaming OOBE folder in /Library/Application Support/Adobe
- delete the AAMUpdater folder and renaming the OOBE folder in /Users/<user folder>/Application Support/Adobe
- use Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove Adobe CC Desktop (after which I also had to remove Adobe Application Manager fo OSX 10.6)
- reinstall CC desktop.
After logging in, all the Apps where showing in the App tab.
For Windows users, probably something similar would work, but the folders will have other locations. This could help in finding the correct folders: App doesn’t open | Progress wheel spins continually
