How come when I try installing Master Collection, it only opens a loading window for a few seconds, then the window disappears and it does nothing else?
I just bought a brand new laptop and I've downloaded Adobe Creative Suite: Master Collection, Creative Cloud 2014 64-Bit version, and ran the extraction files to bring the installation files to my PC's desktop (I have Windows 8.1). Then, when I tried running the installer, it popped up a window saying something about installing updates and rebooting the computer. I checked with the Creative Cloud app, and it did have 2 updates for Photoshop and After Effects (which weren't even installed yet), and I figured the installer was referring to those, so I downloaded those updates and rebooted my computer.
I then tried running the installer again, but this time, a loading screen saying "preparing to configure Adobe CC Master Collection 2014 64-Bit", and the loading bar only reaches a certain point, then halts, then retracts itself and closes, and that's the end. Nothing is installed, it just stops itself. Photoshop and After Effects weren't even installed, so I uninstalled the Creative Cloud app and those 2 updates, then I tried restarting my computer again, and Windows went through some OS updates itself in the process. Now it's back up, and I keep trying to run the installer, and the same result happens every time: the loading bar progresses to the same point, stops, goes back to 0%, and closes.
Do I need to re-download this installer, download the 32-Bit version, or what? I really need this resolved: I have no clues!
