LR 5, not available anymore for purchase, and LR 6 are not Updates to LR 4. LR 6 is an Upgrade, new version completely.

You can buy LR 6/CC 2015 in 2 ways.

1) Subscribe to the Photographers subscription plan for $9.99 (US) a month for both LR and PS CC.

2) Buy the stand alone perpetual license LR 6 from the Products page link at the bottom of the main Adobe webpage.

Click the Buy button next to LR then select Upgrade from the drop down list.
