How do I download my purchase of Adobe Elements onto my new iMac

Help - I thought it would be easy! I have the serial number of the full package which i bought only a couple of months ago. But when i try to download it onto my new iMac I only get offered the trial version, although my Adobe ID knows that I have bought it and shows me the serial number.

Please enter the serial number in the installed trial version software to convert it into full version.
