Question

How do I find out what shade of color did I used while colorizing a b&w image?

I did some illustrations at school recently, using the colorize tool. It was successful and they want me to make more of them. But I can not figure out the exact amount of light, saturation and hue which I used before. Is there a way to find it out without starting all over again with a different one? Thank you!

The colour picker is part of many CC programs.

Which software did you use to colorize the artwork?

if you have the source file and program used to create the illustrations, yes.  just open the source file in the program and check the asset.

otherwise, you can find the color shown in the production file but that will also be dependent on the rendering done by your monitor.  i use meazure for on-monitor measurements of all sorts including color.
