How do I get out paying the cancellation fee?

I have been paying for Adobe Creative Suites for over three years. Now they say I have to pay a cancellation fee? This isn't fair and I'm not getting anywhere. Can anyone help?

Correct answer John T Smith

If you did not close your account before the renewal date, your original contract remains in force... meaning a fee to cancel early

Sad to see this thread. These cancellation fees are a scam, with the typical sugar coating of Adobes "professional" mannerisms.

why did you think your monthly cost was lower than the monthly subscription?

Nobody here can help you. Those are the terms you agreed to.  You needed to cancel in the 12 month to avoid cancellation fees.   HINT:  You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.   If you're really really nice to the agent, maybe you can persuade them to waive a portion of your cancellation fees.  It never hurts to ask.

Yeah it's dawned on me that I've been screwed! I thought it only applied to the first year. Thanks for taking the time!
