Question

How do I get past Adobe's redirecting screen when I try to view instructional videos on my new CorelDraw X7?

I loaded Corel Draw X7, educational version. When I try to learn how to use it, I click on the "video" tab and I get a "re-directing" message which takes me to an Adobe screen that wants me to download Adobe Flash Player and add Chrome as my browser and the Chrome task bar. I already have Chrome as my browser and don't need to add Flash Player or task bar. I have an Adobe ID because I own Essentials (although I've uninstalled momentarily for other reasons). I can't close this window and view the videos. Can you help?

Chances are the videos are Flash movies so it is directing you to install it.  You should be able to deselect the Google Chrome options.  If you have more questions about your Corel software you should find a Corel forum.

Well, I deselected the Chrome options. I just can't get past step three which is trying to sell me products. Then, I just now followed the directions to  install a clean copy of Adobe Flash Player.; but, I get the same problem. Interesting suggestion that I find a Corel forum, Corel support referred me to Adobe to get rid of Adobe, but, I'll go to Corel's page and see if there's any forums that address Adobe. I could not find a Corel forum on Adobe's community list, unless you have a suggestion of who to join.

Did you install the Flash Player?  That might be all you need to do.  But you might also get back with the Corel folks to ask if their videos require having the Flash Player or not.  If not, then there is something wrong with their linking.
