How do I get the Adobe Archive file so I can download CS4 products?

I do not understand what the archive file is/does relative to your attempts to download CS4 files.  If the followng doesn't help could you explain more about it?

You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
