How do I install Creative Cloud?

Hello!

I have adobe creative cloud downloaded as a desk app and ive bought the student version. I now bought a new laptop and i would like to download adobe on this new one, but for some reason it wont let me do so. It says they will send me a link to my gmail where i can open a link that will lead me into downloading the desk top app, but when i click the link, it says error, page not found. Could someone help me figure out the problem? I need adobe for Karelia university for applied sciences.
