Question

How do I manually uninstall Adobe Acrobat XI Pro?

The Windows tablet (running 8.1) that I have Acrobat installed on is completely out of internal memory.

Acrobat takes 7.21Gb of space that I need to redeem.

I've deactivated the installation and tried to uninstall it through the Control Panel but there isn't even enough memory available to automatically uninstall it... Windows Installer tells me, "There is not enough space on the disk."

Can anyone provide me with steps to manually uninstall the program?

Thanks in advance!

More pertinent info... I've already run "Clean Disk" and deleted all temp files, etc.

There are no data files on the tablet so I cannot redeem any space that way either.

My disk space is used strictly for installed programs except for my .pst file which is minimal.

So, uninstalling some programs is the only way to redeem disk space and Acrobat is the largest I have installed.

Hi John,

try to get some free space on your harddisk by deleting unnecessary files via the "Disk Cleanup" utility.
Here's a tutorial on how to do this: Delete files using Disk Cleanup - Windows Help

Sometimes, you can free up a couple of gigabytes (Gb) with this.
