How do I prevent Adobe from sending me unwanted update notifications?

Please help with an ongoing concern.

I don't use Lightroom or Lightroom Classic, yet I receive a daily notification that I have two updates.

I have no intention of using either Lightroom app, so I want to prevent Adobe's sending these unnecessary and unwanted notifications every day.

Please advise me how to do this. Thank you.

Open up your CC Desktop app.

From the three-dot menu on the upper right, choose Preferences > General

Uncheck Show Notifications.
