Question

How do I re-download Creative Cloud after improperly deleting it?

I deleted everything with the word 'Adobe' in my computer (apps, files, installers and Creative Cloud itself) and now I cannot re-install the Creative Cloud desktop app on my Mac. I deleted everything by simply dragging from Finder into the Trash and then emptying trash (stupid, I know - I just wanted a quick fix and didn't bother looking to find the uninstaller apps: uninstaller apps that I dragged into the trash after already permanently deleting the everything else Adobe).

I'll add screenshots for where I get stuck, but what happens is I attempt to install and nothing happens. I have tried multiple times starting from the beginning and just re-double-clicking the installer and even restarting my MacBook and trying again from scratch - none of this makes a difference.

Please help. Please let me know how I can get round this quickly.

Thanks

I follow these instructions and double click

Clicking 'Open'

Typing in my password and clicking 'OK' - after this, nothing happens.

I was able to fix this issue by searching my mac if I had any OLD Adobe Creative Cloud Installer I might have not deleted, and it turns out I did.. So I just tried "uninstalling" it again and when a prompt shows whether I'd like to continue or REPAIR, I clicked the latter. Worked like a charm!

You did, of course, type in your COMPUTER password to prove to your Mac that you have permission?

Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...

-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html (and uninstall)

-using the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling is often needed

-Restart your computer... Sign in to your account... Reinstall

Download & Install instructions https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003339 may help

Thanks for your reply, but this did not work.

I have followed the steps of your reply multiple times and the same problem is occurring.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Please confirm whether you are using Mac password or not ?  If not , Enter you Mac password and check.

If the prompt box doesn't accept Password,  create a new Administrator account  and try to install , Or instead of creating new Profile for one simple installation , it is Ideal to enable Root user account and then later if successful , you can disable it .
