How do I reinstall Acrobat 8 to my new computer having Windows 7? My former laptop crashed 4 mos ago

I have gone to http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html and clicked on the 8 for Windows. But nothing downloads.

JH8 you can download Acrobat 8 Professional by following the directions listed at http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html. Please make sure to complete the Very Important Instructions section prior to scrolling down the page and clicking on the download links.

Additional info from JH8: The "AcroPro80_efg - 3/5/2014 - Application 259,717 - appears in my downloaded files. However, doesn't it have to RUN in order to become executable? As you can see, I'm totally ignorant when it comes to downloading the programs. Thx for any help.
