How do I reinstall and register Acrobat and Adobe 8?

I have had to completely recover my computer and am in the process of trying to reinstall all programs, including some Adobe. What is the procedure?

Can i just download the program? Does Adobe have a record of my purchases is able to provide the required registration numbers?

If you registered the programs when you originally installed them then there is a chance that you can find your serial numbers thru your Adobe account online - it can depend how old they are. You should make it a point to retain such information in your own records as well.
