How do I reinstall CS6 after refreshing my computer?

Question

I had to refresh windows 8 due to bugs and other issues with the computer, but this wipes all of the software from the computer and resets it to defaulted software and setups. I thought I'd be able to reinstall my Creative Suite 6 from the Adobe website, but the serial number for my product doesn't work. I have tried downloading it from the trial version and from the 'older versions' download page. Even more frustrating is that I was able to re-download and reinstall my Acrobat Pro XI with no problem, so I can't understand what is different with CS6!

You should be able to reinstall and activate, although if you have the software installed on two machines and you didn't deactivate on the machine that had the rewrite then you might not have a second activation available any longer.

Try contacting Adobe support thru chat and see if they can help resolve the matter. They can deal with resetting activations.
