How do I reinstall Lightroom on my new computer without having to buy the product again?

I bought Lightroom 2 years ago. Now I want to install it on my new iMac, but I can't without buying the product again?! There seems to be no support on the Adobe website. What to do?

    Hello Norbert,

You are allowed to install Lightroom on any two computers and you are allowed to use it on only one machine at a time.

You can refer : End-user license agreements FAQ

Which Lightroom version do you have?

From where are you installing Lightroom?

    Hello Anushri,

Yeah, I just found out about the 2 computers. And I do have the program installed on 2 MacBooks. Now I am trying to deactivate Lightroom on one of them. Get stuck again. Can't find a way to do that. Do I just need to deinstall? Any idea? I have the DVD from Lightroom 2. Seems I have updated to 2.6 a long time ago, but I can't find information in my account. Maybe I forgot to register?

‌There was no deactivation mechanism in Lightroom until version 6.

To remove it, you just uninstall.

To re-install, download from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh

Install then enter your serial number.
