How do I remove the adobe download assistant from my computer

    Windows XP

        Choose Start > Control Panel > Add Or Remove Programs.

        Select Adobe Download Assistant and click Remove.

    Windows 7 and Windows Vista

        Click Start and type Programs and Features in the Search box.

        Choose Programs And Features from the pop-up list.

        In the Programs And Features dialog box, select Adobe Download Assistant and click Uninstall.

    Mac OS

        In the Finder, go to the Applications folder.

        Drag the Adobe Download Assistant program icon to the Trash.

        Empty the Trash.

    I cannot remove the adobe download assistant.dmg off my MacBook for anything. I have tried to install the download assistant and a trial but it does not work so I want to remove it all to start again. Any ideas?
