How do I renew the Photoshop trial period?

I purchased a used computer in which the previous user already had Adobe Photoshop and used it past the trial period, hence depriving me of the same opportunity. I cannot renew it even though I'm using an Adobe ID that is completely unique from his. Is Adobe checking my IP Address or something, which makes it think to deny my trial? Any help is much appreciated!

There are 2 possibilities.

One is to Clean wipe ( Format )   of OS as mentioned in above reply.

Second is to try different version , if the user has tried CC 2015 version earlier and the trial period clock has ended, you can still try CC 2014 version.

But Re-Formatting the OS will be better option.

The previous installation/trial is registered on the machine.  You would probably have to wipe the machine clean and then reinstall everything in order to get the trial to be able to work for you.
