How do I resinstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard?

Adobe Acrobat 9 stopped working on my computer, and instead showed Error message stating that there was an issue with my license agrement. The message indicated that I should UNINSTALL and reinstall, however I cannot find a download for Adobe Acrobat 9, and I've already uninstalled Acrobat 9 Standard. I can only find Adobe Acrobat XI. Further, when I try to install the "standard" version of Adobe Acrobat XI, it brings me only to a "Pro" web page. And, then I'm only given 2 options...to BUY or install the trial version. Further, I can't even install the Trial Version into my "Programs" file due to another error message saying there is a conflict with Windows. How do I get back my original version of Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard so that I can reinstall and submit my original serial number?

    Hey Jeff,

    This worked!

Thank you for offering the most helpful piece of advice I received. I don't know why I couldn't get this advice sooner. Adobe's support is frustrating. But your simple e-mail fixed everything.

I couldn't see the previous download because Adobe defaults to "Recent Orders", and I didn't even recall whether or not I had purchased it from the site. I don't ever have need to come to the Adobe site, so I didn't think to look further for possible past downloads since I'm just not familiar with the site.

    Thank you again.

    Tammy

Excellent thank you for the update Tammy!  I would recommend that you back up the installation files in case you ever need the installation files again in the future.

If future viewers of this discussion are able to view their order but are unable to initiate the download then please contact our support team to re-enable the download.  You can contact our support team at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.  Again this will only be possible if the download option was chosen at the time of purchase and you purchased the software from Adobe directly.

Old versions of Acrobat Standard are not made readily available to customers if/when they exist... Follow the advice of response 9 in the thread linked below to get Acrobat 9 Standard installed on your machine...

    Hi Ned,

    Thank you.

I downloaded Arobat 9, and followed the run/install wizard.

When I put my serial number in the space, it says it's invalid.

I tired both serial numbers that I have for products listed on my Adobe Products page:

    Acrobat 9: <Removed by Moderator>

    Acrobat 6: <Removed by Moderator>

    What should I do now?
