Hi,

I recently bought a new laptop and would like to transfer my Adobe Creative Suite  Design and Web Premium license to my new laptop. Please advise the steps how to deactivate from my old laptop and transfer/install to my new laptop.  Many Thanks.

Regards

Angie

Correct answer Ned Murphy

You are not required to deactivate since you are allowed to have two activated installations.  But if you do not want to have a backup installation available, then to deactivate it just open one of the applications and choose Deactivate from the Help menu.  That will deactivate the whole suite.

To install on the new machine, just install it the same you you did originally.  If you downloaded it originally then you might find a link for it in yoru Adobe account online.  Otherwise you can find a link thru the following page:

Download and Installation Help -

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html

If you remain unable to find a link then indicate which version of the suite you need and a more direct link can likely be provided.

Hi Ned,

Thanks for your most useful information.

I wasn't  aware that I can have 2 activated installations.

Anyway, I have managed to install successfully into my new laptop using the link that you provided and gotten my serial from my Adobe account.

open one of your apps and click help>deactivate.

then download your installation files and install using your serial number,

Downloads available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

Thanks Kglad, noted.  I will deactivate using your steps when I have my 3rd installations.
