How do I uninstall deleted a CS3 app

I'm attempting to reinstall illustrator CS3 after it was mistakenly deleted. However I am unable to reinstall as my mac thinks the previous version is still there as it was deleted rather than uninstalled. I can't find an uninstaller for it either!

    You can try using the CS Cleaner Tool, though it might not work due to the deletion aspect you describe.
