How do you guys expect to get your money?

Question

If I'm locked out of my files that need to be accessible to turn in MONEY (since my job requires that I have access to these files in order to get paid) how do you guys expect to get your membership fee? Seems like the one time fee of $600+ is a better deal than your Creative Cloud. I'd love to be able to just pay and pay, but that isn't realistic without, again, access to my stuff. Does anyone know another program in which I can open up my art and cut out Adobe from my life altogether? Any feedback is welcome, thanks.
