How to activate CS2 without Internet connection?

I am attempting to install CS3 from disk onto an older XP computer. The original computer that this was loaded on died. The new target computer IS NOT hooked up to the Internet by choice as its only purpose is to send files to a large format printer occasionally.

I tried calling Adobe to activate but received the message that this was no longer possible. According to Adobe's web site today, 1/21/16, older disk versions are no longer supported. I read elsewhere where a customer generated a work order chat with someone at Adobe who simply supplied a code to type in and that worked. (October 2015). This is all I want. Is there a way to request such a code from Adobe? I can't seem to get there with their automated online system.

Adobe tech help, are you reading this? All I need is the code.

Note: I am the original, legal owner of CS3 Extended. I can supply confirmation from Adobe to this effect.

the forums are user-to-user though adobe staff occasionally participate.  tech support, i've not seen participate except in unusual circumstances.
